| Joan Krechmer | Executive Director Joan has three decades of experience in all facets of social work and counseling: individuals, families, older adults and their caregivers, as well as expertise in guardianship matters. She has led JFS of York as its executive director since its inception in 1988. Joan holds a master's degree in social work from the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor's in psychology also from that university. She is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and a clinical social worker in gerontology (CSW-G), as well as a board certified diplomat (BCD) in clinical social work. She is a mother of two and member of the Ohev Sholom Congregation. |
| Jessica Brein | Parenting Coach and Geriatric Care Manager Jessica oversees the popular parenting programs at JFS, and as a geriatric care manager, administers guardianship cases and directs senior programming. She holds a bachelor's degree in education from the University of Pennsylvania and a M.Ed. from the University of Pittsburgh. She has worked as a preschool and elementary education teacher, and for more than a decade as a parenting educator. In the geriatric field, she is a member of the National Association of Geriatric Care Managers. A mother of three, she is on the board of Temple Beth Israel.

| Deena Gross | Staying Connected director After 18 months of voluntering with its Staying Connected program, Deena joined Jewish Family Services in March 2007 as director of the program. She also oversees communications, marketing and development for JFS. She was formerly a journalist in Pennsylvania, Florida and Vermont for 25 years and holds an A.B. in political science from Bryn Mawr College. The mother of two cats, she is a board member of Temple Beth Israel.
